Unusual and retro packaging

These two illustrations were for marketing articles. The retro one above was for an article about A-brands not distinguishing themselves from supermarket brands anymore, except for their history and authenticity. So I made up some extra bit of history for Captain Iglo, Red Bull and Senseo pads.
The other illustration, Chanel, is a little older and I'm having a hard time remembering what it was about exactly. Something to do with companies selling similar products but marketing them differently. Where it's no exception that a company with an posh name also has a budget line. Hence Eay de Cheapeau with it's distinct cheapo packaging.

Colaklaas, Coca Cola infiltrates the Dutch market

Made for Marketing magazine about the marketing of Coca Cola in the Netherlands. In America Coca Cola practically owns the imagery of Christmas so I thought Coke could take over Dutch Sinterklaas in order to completely rule the Dutch soda market.

Bag of Holy Beans

Right now in Tijdschrift voor Marketing. Socially responsible companies do better long term. I've drawn a bag of Holy Beans. The Dutch expression "Holy bean" means "Goody-two shoes".

Have a little heart for your company

A marketing subject. Communicate more successfully to your target group by having all your employees be true to, communicate, and believe in the key-values of your company. "Hereby I swear to be faithful to the key-values of the company, for better or worse till death do us part." Buzzing for Tijdschrift voor Marketing

This is a recent illustration for a marketing magazine. The subject of the article was Buzz* and how marketeers should perceive the data they collect from this. The article was focussed in particular on not knowing who's behind all the chattering and which percentage of their peer-group this represents. So, I concluded quite a small group of people could be really influential, therfore I created;
"Bertus the Megabuzzer soon to be the most influential consumer on earth."

*Buzz: a term used in word-of-mouth marketing is the interaction of consumers and users about a product or service. Nowadays social media such as Facebook and Twitter are also being used to create marketing buzz.

Prosumers

Here's one on marketing. The subject of the article was that you can distinguish 5
different types of prosumers. So I drew a prosumers test " Which prosumer are you?"
